Pretty much what everyone else said. You probably won't get anything.

    Yes they can.

They don't designate a specific place to server service, they give you a list of places where you can take time off and they sign off a log sheet, and you can do it on yhour own free will, as its part of your probationary period that you need to get it done before probation expires or you will get some additional time on probation.

Exactly what everyone else is saying. You are won't get anything more than a slap on the wrist and a "Don't do it again". You didn't drink (which is the part that would get you in trouble), and you were at someones house.

I don't know what the ------ "Underage" means.... is it like... you are 16 years old and at anytime a cop needs to fill his quota he looks for teenagers to give them "Underage" tickets? That's a bull---- one. Hell, since you weren't drinking and as long as you didn't even hold a can of beer or whatever, you won't even get cited for possession. You are completely in the clear, and the officers are prolly just trying to fill the quota I mentioned before.

Yeah I totally agree. I should have been given a fine such as 'being under 21 and near alcohol without parent(s)' and not all these other things I didn't do. This whole situation is just stupid but I'm sure I'm going to have to pay something..

I doubt that you'll hear from them, seeing as you were at the party and not drinking/etc. while a bunch were.
This is why I usually never go to large house party's, about 1/2 the time they get busted by the cops, and it's not fun being in the same house as stoned kids when they do show up.
Stick with the smaller ones from now on.

admitedly it depends on where you live but in California if that happened... slap on the wrist.

Cops love to scare the ---- out of teenagers with obscure laws that they never enforce. Nothing SHOULD happen. If they fine you or do anything at all they are just being big assholes.

Well I just found out the fines I am going to be receiving. They dropped the curfew and underage (*cough* because they were complete bull---- and I didn't even do any of that *cough*) but now they just randomly threw in some ---- like resisting arrest and obscuring an officer just because I was hiding like everyone else. So I get that one fine and its $50 (go to court next month to get this done with)... I ------ing hate the law.

Dude that's so dumb. Those cops are just being jerks. Resisting arrest is true in a sense but they only pull that if you run from them, or you make them drop their donut and/or coffee chasing you.

Underage Drinking - 21+ in USA and 19+ in Canada

I can't believe you got anything to be honest bro, I remember when I was your age nothing like that ever happened.

We used to drink outside and the worst that would happen was they would pour out our alkie and then tell us to go home. If we were home there's absolutely nothing they can do.

I guess it's different in Canada...not sure. Good luck anyway..

EDIT: "I remember when I was your age" wow I sound old. lol

I know a ton of friends who've received similar charges around here, just a bit more severe. At least where I'm from, all they got was a slap on the wrist, sent home, and in some cass the school was notified (assuming you attend school). Nothing much further than that.
