As some of you know, I recently joined as a trial member so that I can improve my tagging abilities. I don't consider myself a horrible tag maker, but I'm no where close to the level you guys are at. I have been having trouble with effects on tags. THAT I feel is my main area of weakness. So, I was wondering if some of you guys would be nice enough to give me walkthroughs on some cool effects/tricks for a tag. And if your feeling REALLY nice, I'd love a chance for some of you to give me full tag walkthroughs. I've been looking through the tuts and psds avaliable only for BC members, but I was thinking this could help speed up my progress. Again, this isn't necessary, but I'd really appreciate it. You are far from bad at applying effects. Personally i never aim to make the same style to oftern thats one reason i have a few good tags and more bad ones because i try NOT to repeat my processes other wise i could make like 50 realisim tags liek the one featured in my tag and they may look good but its not helping me. Just persist with it.
"Effects is not the only thing that can be done in making tags. You can make a great tag without effects. What style would you prefer so its easy to help you out.
Thanks. I know, I don't want the same tag as other people, I just want to have some more effects avaliable for me. I'd like to learn as much as I can. But right now, I'd really like to learn more about smudging and abstaction tags.
i have the same feeling as you fallen .. i also don't like my sigs at all i used to make sigs and like them but nowadays ... i don't know ... i don't like them at all but apparently other people do for some reason xD but the best advice i could give you is ... experiment alot with photoshop just start a sig and try out EVERYTHING you can think off .. try to combine things and don't rush a sig .. just take it very easy , and be creative .. and also what i do .. is before i start a sig .. i just look at the white canvas of the sig trying to come up with something like i already finished the sig in my head sorta a speak you try that .. let your imagination flow also here is my pb link http://s24.photobucket.com/albums/c1/kovanali/ look over some sigs and post some you like and i would happily send you the psd for LR ( but not all are at my reach, some are sold and stuff.. i'm to lazy to delete them from pb )\ hope that wil help you enough
