    fish can't think they can remember things for like 1 second... so after you trew food in they don't even know from were i'd came :)

    that's just sad :( but he always comes up when i get close so i think i am having an emotional friendship with my fish ^_^

    just because his memory is supposedly 1 second, does not mean he doesn't have instincts

    Actually, there's no factual evidence at all to support this theory of fish having tiny memories, if anything, evidence supports the opposite.

    they've tried it with Brainiac didn't they? and in the end the fish knew how to swim true all the holes correctly to find the food ;)

    My fish died two days ago...
    flushed him down the toilet (that i had bleached 2 hours earlier so it was frothy, so couldn't see him) then after i took a crap.

    it was proven that their memory doesnt last 1 second. they did some experiment that i dont remember, but in the end they taught a fish to do a special swim like a 'dance' everytime it wanted food
