Dragging a closed issue and restarting it in another thread. Because he was using it as evidence to prove his points And again. God you're [insert word here] When you debate and argue you're supposed to make it seem like you're confident. He's trying to maintain a fair discussion but instead is showing his own bias, he's doing a good job of contradicting himself. No he's not, but nice try. The bias he was referring to was Staff Bias in general in contrast to what you are attacking which is Individual bias. Individual bias is existent in every post and argument anyone has ever posted. Either way, I made a discretionary decision to lock the thread based upon my belief that it was unnecessary, a rant, and fruitless argument with someone who only wanted to be validated. No one really cares If you still want to discuss the staff, I'm all for creating an open topic (I'll do it myself if necessary) provided things can be discussed. However, I'm not going to have to be subjected to ranting and whining of people are angry over recent events that didn't go their way. yea, don't do that.
He made several attacks about draven closing his suggestion topic. How does one differentiate what he did from spam? He made long posts that argued in a circle looking to be validated. There wasn't a whole lot to go on. Did he get it wrong? Yes. Thats been admitted, however in cases like that I attempt to let things play out longer than 8 hours in the off chance things can resolve themselves. The last I had looked at the thread some progress was being made to the two of them sorting it out. It degraded quickly. It's obviously too late to change that, however, if it's needed I'll apologize on behalf of the staff for making a mistake.
You wanted my reasoning behind closing thread, I gave it. If you're unable to accept them, well that's not really my problem
lol, I post my reasoning why I disagree with you and you're unable to accept them, well, that's not my problem. Pity you can't argue well
Apparently the 3-4 staff members who posted there didn't think it was "vastly inappropriate" so Buc has every right to not know about how you thought about it. I gave it. He obviously wanted merely the community's thoughts. Staff interference (eg. changing polls, locking) would of distorted the results. Anywho, staff still posted there so it doesn't matter. We don't edit serious polls. I seriously doubt he wanted to cry (I find staff uses that saying quite a lot) but he certainly was angry so he instead tried to make it productive and see what the public thought about the staff's job. His thread wasn't productive, he wanted validation that the staff were doing a bad job. It's far too bad that this doesn't serve anywhere as close as a good reason to close the topic. At this point, it seems as if you're getting helpless and just making random excuses and throwing them at me. Not quite random, but I felt important to point out. You're right it had nothing to do with why I locked it. Yea, he lacks the comprehension to understand the nature of what goes on behind the scenes because he isn't behind the scenes. On the other hand, reading is something most people have the chance to learn so it makes a more formidable requirement then to understand the nature of what goes on behind the scenes, lol. He didn't bother asking what went on nor make an attempt educated himself, not to mention this reading your talking about is generally not taught. They either have the patience to read the thread or they won't. The worst he could of done was -rep'ed you. Yea he showed disregard for the rules, but your reasons for closing the topic suck. You could of just suspended him and kept the topic going. I suspend him for -rep'ing me. I get flamed, I closed the thread. Its not hard to see that coming.

But in order to keep things fair those with the most opposite to his should be removed.
Awww. After reading the first 2 posts, I though someone would surely whip out the ban hammer. False alarm i guess.
Well, even though its a job as staff not to let emotions alter the punishment etc, we are still human after all and sometimes we let things slide easy. Although I had a feeling buccaners topic was going to be closed, I think it would of been good to see how it would of went if it wasn't closed so people can finally clear their heads with any thoughts suspcions they had towards that staff. This has been going for too long, and I don't really remember this happening in the past, so mabye PMing or continuing the thread will make things interesting.

God damnit man. He wanted the ------ing community's opinion, not the god damn staff's because obviously the staff would ALL defend themselves while the community would be split, as the polls (before you locked it) clearly show.
I agree, as a staff you have to defend your self, and in fear some people might not post their opnion becasue they might be "punished" for it.
Personally i think the mods/admins are awesome. Marforce, nice work on suspending me for the rep abuse on IamFag, caught me, and if i was caught i deserved it. Also, i liked Cheap Indians edits, though, not the kirbir part, shes not as cool as she used to be, maybe cause shes pregnant...
It is so nice to see that staff always has to be perfect, and you guys don't. You always come whining about staff the moment you get butt hurt about something minor, and only look at your own point of view. When your mother refuses to buy your favorite candy for you, do you start whining about her abusing her mommy powers? When you peek at an exam and thus automatically fail it, you blame your teachers for abusing their powers? When you spit in a police officers face and get thrown in jail for a few hours you blame him for abusing his powers? When you get suspended at work for insulting and threating your colleagues you blame your chief for abusing his powers? We don't abuse our powers, stop using us as an excuse for your own stupidity and lack of reasoning.
