I want to RMA a mother board, ram, and a videocard. Since my computer isnt working right I want to RMA those itsms. Though the problem is that im not sure which item is causing the problem to my computer, so can I RMA those 3 items even though its possible they may work? Also if I RMA the items can I get different parts other than just a repair(also since I bought those items prices for everything has gone down so I can get a lot better video card and ram)?

Under the RMA Request it says:
Motherboard - "This item is still elligable for replacement"

Video Card - "According to our records, this item is still covered by the product manufacturer's part warranty" "According to our records, this item is still covered by the product manufacturer's labor warranty" and "This item is still elligable for replacement"

RAM - "According to our records, this item is still covered by the product manufacturer's part warranty" "According to our records, this item is still covered by the product manufacturer's labor warranty" and "This item is still elligable for replacement"

Should probably call and ask them if you can do that. What are your problems? We can probably help you and tell you what the issue with the hardware is. :)

I don't know exactly how suppliers run things in your neck of the woods, but if its anything like the ones i deal with, if you send an item for RMA that is not faulty, they'll send it back along with a service charge.

run ATItool to test if it's the video card, if it artifacts the card is bad

run orthos on blend and that's a reasonable test for the board and RAM together.

try memtest for just the RAM.

That's actually true, it's usually about ~$20. Newegg may be a bit different since they just exchange them, and not actually RMA them. To RMA it, you'd have to send it to the manufacturer.

diff parts make diff effects.. if the screen flicker and stuff might be ur vid card if the pc freeze running a program or w.e than that can be ur ram or cpu no? x_x

run those test xlink said depending on what ur pc is doing than u can narrow down to what part might be damaged if u got 2 stick of RAM try removing one and change slots

if you RMA it and they really don't work, they'll give you back what you payed for the item, regardless of price drops. However if u payed 20$ for shipping, thats not included in the refund. :)

so if you payed $80 + $20 shipping ($100 total) , and the item is now $70, you'd get $80 back.
