Counter-strike 2

    Counter-Strike is probably THE most successful fps online multiplayer to date. First was 1.6, then Condition Zero and then Source. People still complain that 1.6 was better than the other two. Well Valve may be developing a Counter-Strike 2! Gametrailers.com has interviewed Gabe Newell and will be broadcast tonight on Spike TV and Gametrailers.com.
    They will also talk about Left4Dead and a new Team Fortress 2 map.

    I have all the CS's for pc. I love them... Hope they do come out with a cs:2 !!

    They are probably talking about CS --- Mod (maybe this was a beta for CS:2?) But CS:PM was terribly & quickly made, wwaayy too many bugs.

    I hope this is true and Valve does come out with CS:2. I just love CS! :D

    I hope they keep the difficulty of 1.6 in it. CS:S is way to easy, you can spray and still kill someone far away from you, the headshot area is bigger, and the shotgun is a lot more effective long-range- not to mention the knife in the back does 195 damage as opposed to 65.

    Personally, I'm a 1.6 man, but I'll be watching the CS:2 previews.

    Wow, my earlier post the name of the game got blocked... It was supposed to say CS: Pr.o Mod. It has many bugs, but it's ideas were perfect.

    CS: PM was supposed to be 1.6 but with source graphics, (Same spraying recoil and everything). That to me really sounds like CS: 2.

    Nope, completely different game. Not just a mod.

    In the vid Valve said that they will be making a Counter-Strike 2, they are deciding what to do with it. They have been leaning towards re-skinning the original (basically like PM).
    Also Gabe Newell (Valve Co-Founder) said that Valve have an Orange-er Box on the way, which won't include Counter-Strike 2. Unless Gabe gets 15,000 emails saying otherwise.
    So get mailing people!

    Yeah i belive that valve isnt ready to put out another good versioin of counterstrike. I hope they wait till technology gets better and puts out a really good cs:2 with a brand new engine

    Yeah CS 1.6 is the best. But yeah I love all of the Counter Strikes and am looking forward for the Counter Strike 2 :D Hope it is also going to be awesome :D

    1.6 is awesome, source is good but too easy

    im iffy on how they can make cs2 without repeating a lot of the things from 1.6, CZ and source

    I just hope they dont ------ the game up like they did from 1.5 to 1.6
