ive seen 3 apps so far in the app section that have not been bc worth but have all been said yes too, now i do agree that we can help them get better, however we cant be saying yes to everyone. brandonz is a big no, the first one is also a no. but maybe the second one.

    imho anyways.

    g'night kirbs. ;) a mommy-to-be needs her rest.

manahan, i usually say yes to those who seem to have the basics down. it's kinda hard to develop an original style if you aren't in an environment where the CnC can be more tailored and helpful to you. that's why i advocate crews on large large forums - because they provide that close-knit atmosphere.

also, BC seems to have a habit of making people change up their styles some, and i think that we've got some great sigmakers here who have really improved with us. if you're around originality, it spurs you to become more original yourself.

if you're surrounded by whored styles, then you'll tend to follow the trend. that's my opinion, at least.

oh no i get it, but we also want to keep somewhat of a good reputation of sig makers, we cant ust say yes to every app because they have the basics. alot of people have the basics lol.
im not saying its wron\g to have a couple of up and comers (like me)
but we cant have too many.

Agreed :3 I remember when i joined BC, i was using c4ds like crazy, and thats what i called a sig.. A bunch of c4ds mixed together xD. And now I've learned to make Nice sigs using displacement and sigs like my currents using the liquify filter. And i no longer use any kind of c4ds anymore XD.

edit: just read the post above me. and I think i agree :X I think im going to start having to say no to people :( But i think our reputation for our kindness is Pretty darn awesome too xD

Its a thin grey line we walk i guess.

I have no problem turning down a person, alot of our fellow members arn't that active anyways. But thats life.

I am just glad this crew isn't a replica of AG, with snooty, up-tight know-it-alls who seem to generate carbon copies of nice tags but really dont explore.

I think there needs to be a mix and atm, that activity in the crew is down to about 6 posters who post often.

"I say yes to a person when I see that he has a potential in gfx. Also he know the basics of making a tag. Like focal, depth, lighting, text and flow. Also making your own style takes some progress and lots of work. Also looking at others works to be inspire. Thats my opinion.

I say yes, if i know that can improve. Beinging in BC isnt about being the best. (but we friggen are...:P) its about learning within the krew...and alot of people did.

But i kinda get what your saying. We dont want to just say yes too anyone
