    seems relatively solid. WIll admit that i"m not the most familiar with AU pricing but it sounds ABOUT right.

    Considering that the $AU is almost the same as the $NZ, those prices are great. The only 9600GT cards available in NZ are ~$420 after tax.

    If I were you, I would wait with getting the 9600, If you wait a short time, the 9800 will be released, and since you are still under your budget, you can afford it.

    2gb corsair xms2 dominator series - $239.36

    Kingwin 600w Mach 1 Modular Power Supply - $101 around there

    e-GeForce 8800GTX 768MB Superclocked - $500 - $400

    Antec Nine Hundred
    Ultimate Gamer Case - $150

    320 Harddrive - You can guess around $100 ;).

    Dont buy AMD, buy Intel and overclock. Don't buy the GTX when there are better cards out for cheaper and don't buy overpriced dominator RAM when you're not even going to get the benefit of it since your CPU will be the limiting factor in your overclocking. Also, i've never heard of Kingwin, but I'd recommend buyinga good quality PSU. Xlink may know whether it's a good unit or not.

    anyone who cheapes out on the CPU and spends $$$ on RAM... Wow...
    FYI the antec 900 goes for $80-120ish at most places.
