Anyone see that debate a few days ago? Something Clinton said really stuck out to me. They were discussing illegal immigrants. Clinton says that all illegal immigrants should be deported if they broke the law in the U.S. NEWSFLASH: They broke the law by coming here! Where's she been? Anyone agree with me that this was a pretty dumb thing to say?

Well, it depends who you are asking. I, personally, am STRONGLY against Hillary. Even with Bill at her side, her policies scare the living daylights out of me. Now, moving onto your question; deportation would work if the Mexican government, as well as the US government, had tightened borders. Deportation works most other ethnic groups except for the Mexicans because of the border situation. That being said, it would also loosen up the prisons, seeing as 30% of prisons are illegals, usually. All I want to see is what she plans to do with welfare and funding for illegals; is she going to spoil them for breaking the law or is she actually going to make them go to the back of the line like EVERYONE ELSE.

I pretty much agree. I am extremely anti-Clinton. I believe all illegal immigrants should be sent back, no exceptions.

I believe there should be a firing wall setup by US Military on the border and all illegal immigrants caught border hopping were shot there.

And a phony. I watch her on TV, and just pray that she doesn't become President. She says she really is worried about this country, and it's all up to her to fix it. Come on. <_<

that will never happen, the USA isnt just gonna start going through every living person in america and see if they are illegal or not, but if they break a crime its like them coming to you. i do agree they should be sent back no exceptions but we will never see it happen

So you would spend millions on deportation alone? That is backwards thinking.

If we elected Clinton, we would be spending billions of dollars anyways.
    1. $30 Billion - Emergency Treasury Funds
    2. $1 Billion - Education Mentoring Funds
    3. $50 Billion - Alternative Energy Research Funds
    4. $110 Billion - Health Care Reform Funds
This list adds up to more than $190 billion in expenses for domestic policies, not counting what she plans to spend on foreign aid, housing, and deficit expenses. And you think she isn't going to impose these prices on us? She is calling for an elimination on tax cuts, which means we'll have to pay MORE than before.

So, because she'd be spending billions of dollars anyways, it's okay to spend billions more?

    Do the thinking:

Hillary doesn't support the idea of deporting of criminals with no legal citizenship, and yet she wants to put, not millions, but BILLIONS of dollars into reform for things like welfare and health care.

The current US correctional population is 7.2 million people, and 3 in every 10 of those criminals are here illegally. That is an estimated 2.1 million people; people who have not only broken the law coming into this country, but broke it a second, third, and so forth time. Correct me if I am wrong, but these people have broken into our country just to give us more crime than we already have.

Now, deportation costs are roughly $8 billion in order to have the illegals charged with a crime to deported back to whatever country they ran from. That is saving the US the $22,500 we spend on each individual prisoner as well as the countless amounts of money that we need to spend on rehabilitation and welfare in order to give these $2.1 million a chance at a better life.

That's $8 billion dollars next to a total of ( 2.1 million * $22.5k ), which estimates to around $47.3 billion dollars - which is not counting the $5600 of taxpayer money per household to pay for welfare. Deportation would cost a fifth of that needed to house illegals for committing crimes.

Now, what about the people who are not criminals and here illegally? Sure, we cannot deport the other 8 to 10 billion illegals who have NOT committed crimes, but remember what I mentioned about taxpayers covering a large amount of the 72% federal funding that goes towards welfare?

Well, $11-22 billion of that welfare goes to illegal immigrants. That's $11 billion+ of your tax dollars going to a person who is struggling to contribute to American society when we are already in a $9 trillion deficit to make up for. Why should we have to give extra money to citizens of a foreign nation, when the US is BORROWING MONEY FROM FOREIGN ENTITIES AND NATIONS?

Clinton will not help this nation out of solving out economics troubles. She will put us on a spending track for more than $230 billion dollars. I am a Conservative, so I am strongly against taxing more than we need too, and Hillary is setting us up for no change whatsoever; well be paying inflation taxes for her out of control budget rather than Bush's foreign wars and failure of an economic plan.

What I am trying to say is that Hillary shouldn't be elected AT ALL. Her policies will do us no good; we need to find a more cost efficient way of trimmig the bill while remaining within reason.

I will pay for an extra 100 bullets for a sub machine gun each month if they put in a firing squad to shoot all illegal immigrants.
