http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/g/gearsofwar2/announce.htm Just been announced officially, out in November. Trailer was a bit...eh, obviously not revealing much yet hence no actual game footage and no real mention of storyline etc. But eh, if it's as good as the first one, yum.
Let them fix the pc version first its still collecting dust on my shelf but good news for the xbox owners
It'll probably be exactly like the first one... Which was great, but another one just like it wouldn't be as great :F
They have made advancements to the Unreal Engine so in that case it will make for an entirely new experience. I personally can't wait, Gears was an amazing game overall. I really enjoyed the co-op, split and on XBL.
The only good thing about Gears is the co-op on XBL. Other than that it isn't much fun. =[ Hopefully there is 4 player online co-op this go around.
what i hope for in gears of war 2... -a joinable matchinmaking with your friends (because in gow they do it anyway) -fixed host (so host doesnt eat everyone with everything) -10 player matches(maybe just another gametype so the 4v4 thing can still go down) -better hit detection on the character models -free for all gametype -customizable armor -less glitches if epic does all those to gow 1,it will be the greatest game ever,which gears pretty much already is IMO but honestly i did not like the trailer not even any gameplay just some shilloetes chainsaw fighting,sure it was cool,but i wanted to see some gameplay or graphics
