Hello everyone. Thanks for all talking behind my back while i was gone But yeah, im back. whats up? *points* Oh.. Intresting; because i remember getting suspended for telling majin to stop being an ------ to everyone. (back in the day when i was against flaming). And the reason was : "For calling out well known and liked members" ------------------- But i have to say, not everything is the fault of staff. Sure, they can be assholes just as we can be (and are most of the times). But the fact is, good members come and go.. Gr has been a great place for the past 2/3 years, but its always going to have its ups and downs. And in all honesty, i've got away with murder. I could've been banned so many times now i've lost count.. so not all of their descissions are bad. (although, this one was rather lame : "rep abusing kirbir". I didn't see pale get suspended when he abused the rep. I don't see all the morons who +rep kirbir for no reason getting suspended) But all in all.. The main reason GR isn't as good or active as it was is because we don't have enough "good" members, tbh. And faiths an ------.
haha i knew this would come up. You have abused the rep system so many times morv and you know it, hell ive let you off so many times its not even funny anymore. I constantly ignore your behaviour, your rep abuse, the name calling, your ------ ways but theres only so much i can 'ignore', just for stating this i may get into trouble for not doing my job! But i am not an ------, i don't just go around and suspend/ban people for NO reason, i will give them a couple of chances, i will tell them via pm to stop it (as i have done with you morv), i will then verbally tell you to stop it, if nothing works then you shall and will be punished, regardless of who you are and how much you are liked. You break the rules, you deal with the consequences. Most of my invalid reputation was from years ago, ive lost count of how many reps have been deleted from my account (when it was working) and when it is working again, i am sure i will lose more because yes, i have some invalid reps in there and i shall remove them personally. Most of the reps i do have however, are not invalid, they have come from me helping alot of guys out, giving out my resources for free, giving guys my resources to post on their sites etc. I would also like to state that the members who have given me invalid reputations in the past have been dealt with, they have been suspended, hell, even Gac was suspended for doing the same as you have done and he was a very liked member too. Also Mortified Penguin is currently on a 7 day suspension for doing the same thing, so don't just think it is you when you don't know the full story.
reputation should probably just be like... put on a stand still till its fixed, it causes more problems than it boosts people's confidence on GR these days it seems. I mean I got revenge rep'd a while back too, but the user who did that was banned recently because he flamed people openly, and i personally appreciate that decision by the staff, on the other hand, the only thing i'd complain about is organization (sometime's things don't get noticed or happen slowly), but there are so many things to watch at once and it doesnt seem like the staff is all that big, that you can't really blame any one person for somethign like that.
