k i wanted to make a multi boot, but some things went wrong on the install, now i had xp on c: before the install of vista, but now vista made a new partition, and took c: and the old c: is now d: :/ now i'm not worried about omg d: is ugly ,but i cant boot xp anymore, i've searched on google how to change the systems drive letter, but you can only do it when you are in the os itself, any idea on how to change the drive letter from xp from c: to d:, i have access too the windows xp directory
you won't be able to use the same drive letter twice if vista uses c: and xp d: you can change your drive letter from in vista for xp and then when you are in xp you can change the drive letter for vista. to have multiboot in vista Start / All programmas / VistaBootPRO / VistaBootPRO the program will ask if you want to create back-up its better to make one, but not required. in Manage OS Entries you can choose the os you want as default os if you still have problems let me know
ah i already reisntalled xp, and vista's gone i'll keep it this way too make the chance smaller too lose more data xD
