Everyone,

You can basically find this picture floating around on the internet. It is from Koei though. C&C will help a lot.



I am learning to render, any suggestions, like feathering and things please give tips. =D

Pretty nice, though it looks a bit choppy around his hair.

I usually only feather at .2 pixels.

 

decent

try rendering simple images first. i always find anime renders quite easy to do compared to cgi images. also, put your finished product on different coloured backgrounds to see if you've missed anything.

Thank You kindly. I never feather. I done it on a bright green background but those around the hair did not show up good. Just hope it is usable for someone.

Just a tip, you'd better link directly to that original picture quickly or a moderator is sure to lock this. Just a heads-up.

Besides that, I spotted a few white pixels in those feather-type things, and the hair is a bit... curvy. From there down it looks good.
