Pc Problem

    SOmetimes my monitor turns black all of the sudden and when i off it and turn it on agian . it shows the picture for a couple of seconds and turns black again. can somebody help me whats wrong with the monitor and why this happens?

    check the wire connection. Do you have a video card? How old is the monitor?

    #1 whats your power settings.
    #2 CRT or LCD
    #3 cord is connected securely?

    Its not that old.. its an LCD flat panel monitor. got it at like 06.

    Check your power managment settings. Change it to "Never" see if that helps. If not could the gpu, cord or monitor itself. I know some Dell LCD's had some issuses.
