We don't keep it a secret. But when someone is flaming staff we just don't feel like explaining to him what he possible could have done wrong. And everyone who got banned knows the reason damn well. And if people sill have questions they can always get on IRC. And the log thing is a nice idea and if people really want that it can be discussed in staff. And the forum you want is kinda The Last Word. We also can't remove any more rules nor moderators there or else things will go out of control and we are the ones to blame yet again when that time comes. And there is always MSN for such things I guess. Though removing the word filter in a specific forum is something we simply can't do as it isn't an IPB feature (as far as I know).
Nicasus, l33tsauce & kirbir NEVER BECAME LIKE THAT and they still are in <3 with me and I am in <3 with them xD
i've asked dem several times a while ago over a few ppl why they got banned and he just simply wouldnt tell me..
I agree that many people have been banned after stating their opinions, yes. But while stating their opinions they were also actively breaking about, well, every single rule here. And that isn't the only thing he got banned for if I remember right. He was warned for it but ignored it and continued via PM.
liek omg!!11!1!! I just got to know that I have two accounts, although I don't remember when I made this one, its probably older than the one I was using currently but omg like I will use both of them now
I can't speak on his behalf and I'm sure he has his reasons. And in the end, we don't have to explain ourselves because like I said, the ones who got banned know the reason damn well. But they just tend to tell their friends otherwise and pretend they did nothing wrong at all. If you want, go ahead.
"jay, well he's still banned for some reason, no clue why, but I see him on IRC every so often." hes on a 9 month "if we see you in IRC and become more mature we'll unban you" lol Jay didnt like being told that.
Apparently I'm too cool to be flamed... As for sacrifice, um, i think we forgot about the topic. I'll bump it.
<-- Post by Broken The staff seem very closed minded on any suggestions at all. They look at the first post and the last post on threads, and then they make a comment. No two ways about public voting? On that suggestion thread, we put a lot of ways to go about it. We suggested a voting group apart from the staff to vote, we suggested secrecy of said group, we showed that since the last time you guys tried this, we have gained different members in the community. It is possible to find honest and experienced members on GR, yet the staff believes that GR should be an aristocratic style board in which staff opinion on art should be better valued than the community itself? Though I admit, I enjoyed Dementia's arguments, atleast he responded with rational thoughts behind his responses.
