My brother got a Wii for christmas, but I was wondering if there was any good quality games out there other then guitar hero 3. I didn't think there was anything good out there, but I decided to see if you guys have any suggestions. Just the name of the game, what is it (RPG, Shooter, etc). Some games I like COD4 (Computer ) Half life two Warcraft (not WOW) Starcraft
only thing i like on the Wii is the Wii sports. and thats only fun if your playing with other people.
Well I like COD4, Starcraft and HL2, and I know I would love warcraft though I have never played it cause I know I would get addicted and don't have the time. My Wii game list includes: GH3, LoZ: TP, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, and Wario Ware Smooth Moves, and I have to say I love all of those games. More so than I am loving Assassin's Creed right now, not bioshock though, never bioshock.... maybe compared to TP, but otherwise.....never bioshock. There is also the virtual console to choose from, which I have invested 80 dollars in, and I have gotten like ten games from it, I think maybe eleven, but I'm not going to go look. They are all the classics though, which even hardcore FPS fans can't deny their quality and uniqueness.

Buy Medal of Honor heroes 2, it has some ownage classic arcade mode in it and ONLINE !!! Dont like WOII shooters ? You want somethin futurish ? BuyMetroid Prime Corruption and you will enjoy it ! Ahh you want oldskool ? You want something chalanging and puzzle-ish ? Buy Paper Mario ! Adventure hey ? Buy Super Mario Galaxy My list : 1. Super mario Galaxy 2. MoH: H 2 (bought it yesterday and i'm impressed after a huge dissapointment on red steel ). 3. SSX Blur (forgot that one, if you like snowboarding or ski ---- Buy this one). If you're an all-rounder and you want something that has it all, buy Super Mario Galaxy, and you will be happy with it, i bet ! EDIT: there isnt an SC-ish game on the wii, but just wait, the wii mote is really sexeh if it comes to strategy games so just wat !
Get metroid prime 3 (shooter), super mario galaxy (action/adventure), battalion wars (rts/shooter), warioware (very fun party game), and definitely super smash bros brawl when it comes out. I mean besides that and a few other games the wii has a weak list of good games to be honest. They really need to strengthen their variety of games cause i barely find myself coming back to the wii besides for some mario galaxy. O and Moh heroes 2 is a very good shooter and the online is decent.
Not for everyone, but Zack and Wiki is an amazing game. You may also like Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn its one the worst one in the series, but its still good. You really cant go wrong with anything published by Nintendo. No More heroes is good too.
I believe WII is kind of a childish console and it should not really be added to the next generation gaming platforms for its titles. For its technology we may think about but please...... NOT FOR THE "DONKI KONG" like titles!

Lol. My brother has Super Mario Galazy, but I never play it. Seems uninteresting to me, but I haven't tried to play it yet so I can't really talk. But, as for the shooters, I was wondering about this. On a Wii, how good is a shooter? Better then PC/Xbox/playstation? Worse? This is a big issue I wanted to know about. I figure most of them will be point at the screen at shoot, but I don't exactly want to buy a $50 game that is pretty much just duck hunt for N64 (Best game ever).
The wii is ok. I have a few issues with it's homebrew support, mostly that of gamecube homebrew. (restricting ram etc). Not a bad system though
