    I looking for an fps game (I'm a bit new to the genre) that has rpg elements. Not a lot, just like for example select a class (medic, sniper, soldier, etc.) and then gain exp and level improving your skills/gaining new ones. Basically like in wolfenstein enemy territory where you can select to be field ops/engineer/medic/soldier and gain exp for battles then level up and like when medic reaches level 4 he can give adrenaline to players. Etc. The thing is wolfenstein et is a free and somewhat outdated game. And I'm looking for a more expanded experience that offers single player. Also involving you raising in rank (ie: lieutenant, colonel, general) Anyway thanks.

    I would have to tell you to buy Call of Duty 4. This game has a good and interesting single-player experience with an incredible multiplayer letting you choose classes or make your own classes which is fun. You gain exp to gain levels and gaining levels means new weapons to use in online.

    This game, I think, is what you're looking for. It's on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC.

    Gamespot Rating: 9.0

    IGN rating: 9.4

    I'd give this game a 9.5 because of the addictive multiplayer it has. It's just an amazing achievement in gaming.

    Thanks, cod4 sounds perfect. And as for hellgate London, it got so so reviews and I'm looking for something more militaristic.

    Couple of notes ;

    Mass Effect isn't an FPS, it's a TPS.
    Halo 3 doesn't have the RPG Elements
    Neither does CoD4 really.

    PS : Try Bioshock or Mass Effect if you can handle it being third person.

    PPS : Screw Mass Effect though, get Bioshock.
