Supposedly the Halo movie is being made. And supposedly its being made by Peter Jackson. I don't know about this theory, but I hope its true. A Halo movie would be awesome. If you haven't seen the live action clips by Nightmare Armor Studios, I highly recommend checking them out. They have really good full-size costumes and stuff. I'm thinking they may use those costumes in the movie. But who knows. It could turn out its all a myth. Thoughts on the matter?
Woo hoo! more diluted halo suck! Last I heard, the production for the halo movie was canceled (thank god), however, I am sure someone, somewhere is going to go, "hey, maybe a halo movie would be a good idea!" and I will promptly appear near him to kick him in the genitals. A halo movie IS NOT a good idea. If you want to kill a game, make it a movie game... (it would be like, The incredibles:the game, or spider-man: the game, or LotR: the game ...etc. Except in reverse.) At which point, either the movie would suck hardcore, or the games would start to suck hardcore....either way, not a goot idea...for anyone.
Right.... if they actually made a Halo movie, I would cry....not only for the suck that it would be, but for the Actors...it would undoubtedly destroy their career...I don't care who they are....lol
It would be pretty good since peter jackson's track record in directing movies are pretty good. So long as its Jackson direction i guess i (you) can say it can be a movie that can be enjoyed, greatly done, and maybe lengthy.
lol...Peter Jackson's "track record" is not nearly as good as people might think.... He had three, FAIRLY good movies, all of which were destined to do great no matter who directed them. The people in the art team for the LotR series are the ones that should be commended, and the actors... Other than the LotR series, Peter Jackson has directed TWO OTHER films...2....not many....2..... One of which no one knows...Arthouse...and the other, was an EVEN larger pile of suck than the first LotR movie...King Kong......it was horrible, it was long, and drawn out, and damn near eventless.. So if Peter Jackson is directing this non-existent Halo movie...then I am 100% out on it.....thanks, but no thanks....lol

last i heard on the halo movie that production was cancelled due to many games made into movies sucking. 20th century backed out iirc
Agreed with no movie, seriously, don't say it might be good for game to movie to work, look at Doom. That failed, bad. I saw a trailer for the Halo Movie and was far from impressed. Seriously, I don't get why they need to make a live action one though, it's Halo, fans would love a 3D Movie for it seeing as you can do more effect wise and please more people.

I heard recently it was put on hold, not canceled. Then this was word of mouth from Ebgames employees, but they normally know things months in advanced compared to others...
