I am noticing that most GFX sites anymore have a GFX Review team who rate skill on users. I think it would be cool to do that here!! It would be cool since GR is so big :)

Personally i hate rankings and see no point in them, so im going to say no to this.

Will leave this open for discussion among other staff members.

heheh well I can agree and disagree. Agree because I could see it putting pressure down on to new comers who don't wanna be ranked ------ or something. Disagree because... dang actually.. kinda right, that pressure would blow XD never thought about it that way till now I guess. But it still aint such a bad idea. Hope to hear more from the staff on this idea :)

    points to disagree:
    1. People will say omg, he's rated --- at gr
    2. Rating is all on opinions, lets say you see a tag, that you really like but i dont like it.. what will it be?

    points to agree:
    1. ppl will work harder to get a rank up.
    2. More ppl will be "famous" around teh internetz

Mixed thoughts about this. I think it's worth a try, but my opinion would be biased seeing as i don't spend much time in the the sig forum etc.

The only thing that comes out of ratings is cockyness.

The moment someone is rated "pro" they think they're the best designers on GR, get cocky and annoying as hell.

Will only lead to even more over-inflated e-egos, I say no.

The ratings would be all over the place.. Theres no problem with rankings imo, but there wouldn't really be any good judgments.
