nice guide... will try this during the weekend hopefully everything goes well edit: after browsing around deviantart for Visual styles... it seems most of them need a 3rd party program of some sort in order to use them... (i.e. windows blind style xp etc.) so i am wondering if there is any skins/VS that doesn't involve any of those 3rd party program... btw the skins/VS i am referring to are those from -kol in deviantart
Nice...will do this later. On a side note, if a person doesnt know what GUI(Gooy) is, they probably should attempt this lol...
just patch your uxtheme.dll then search for 3rd party visual styles on the internet. much easier and does'nt require any installation of any skinning software. if you want to customize icons get Icon packager.
alright... i have got the visual style and cursors customize... is there any way i can change the icon of all my folders or the icons for a particular file type? i tried to do it through folder option from the menu in windows explorer but it didn't work as i thought it would... so help would be nice
