If the Patriots would have won I wouldn't say anything at all. Only reason I typed all that is cuz Sex Raptor said "Giants were obviously gonna win" like they were 2 TD's ahead or something when they BARELY won. It was an extremely close game and both teams played well, but you can't say that one team dominated the other.

    Agreed

My friend was at this game, and said that the Pats fans died off into the first quarter like they were worried, like they expected a 51-0 blowout 5 minutes into the 1st lol. He said even tho pats fans outnumbered the Giant fans, Giant fans overspoke Pats. And that is true you could hear them chanting GIANTS GIATNS on TV... I don't remember any PATRIOTS PATRIOTS...

Well it was a great game.

I believe if you went by quarters you could say that Eli dominated in the 4th, but Brady dominated others. Eli made it happen when it counted the most.

Doesn't matter if patriots won in the end.

They are the ones who set records all season long (nearly 1 record every game) and Belichek / Brady have one of the best dynasty teams of all time. Regardless of the fans, or the media, Brady IS one of the best, if not THE best quarterbacks in the league (as proven by the fact this season he had the best pass completion, both in season and post season at least until the super bowl) and Belichek is quite possibly one of the best head coaches in the league, and has and will always lead a very successful football team.

I am still speechless. It's impossible to beat the Pats this year...they must've cheated. It's not possible.

Exactly. Look at the near perfect season, the number of times they've WON the Super Bowl in the past 5 years, and the records they've set and tell me who's the better team. One loss for the Pats doesn't make the Giants better (especially with how close it was the whole game), trust me.

When the Patriots couldn't aqquire the Giant's play tapes, that's how it was in the Giant's favor. Lol, bandwagon.

Actually most NFL teams look at other team's tapes. The reason it was such an issue for the Pats is cuz of their record.

How many times in this topic alone have you seen the word "bandwagon"? You're saying it cuz someone else said it so get off the "bandwagon" bandwagon.

Was a great game. No need to bicker because the Pats lost. Who cares...it was a kickass game. A good close game. Pats lost, they tried their hardest. Bellicheck looked like a dick when he left the field before the game was over and in the post game interview. I mean seriously not even a congrats. I liked Tom Brady until an interview where he said the only thing important to him were the records...the Super Bowl wasn't nothin.

But, whatever. I really enjoyed the game, gg Giants. 11 - 7 World champs lol.

They never were close to a 14 point lead, and they had to get a TD at the end of the game as NE was up by 4 so GG, get the facts straight before you try talk someone down. And i dont know how Brady "dominated" the game when he got sacked 5 times, yea way to dominate on that 82% ankle.

And Buress guessed the outcome to be 23-17 Giants. Brady said he didn't know what Buress was talking about assuming the highest scoring team wouldnt score more than 17 points. Well, Karmas a bitch, and they didnt even get 17 points. </rant>

Around 2 minutes left in 4th quarter when the Pats scored a TD, I was YESSS! GAME OVER. But looks like the Giants pulled it out of their ass and scored a TD.

woke up at 6:30 in the morning to watch this (timezones). i didn't think it was a kickass game much, until the 4th qtr. wouldn't say giants dominated the game, but i would say that the giants defence dominated brady. brady is great, but the giants were greater for being able to hold off brady for much of the game (except in the 4th where they gave up the TD, they got....too complacent i guess). unfortunately, their offense couldnt do much either, until the 4th. the great escape by eli was probably the defining moment of the entire game

in the end, tough luck Pats. i would've really wanted to see this dynasty go 19-0, but well done giants. well ------ing done.

    haha. agreed

Theres a few reasons why you are wrong.

First, its just said that all teams do that, not that they actually do.

Second, the big reason is actually that they got caught.

Third, the biggest reason that this is so contraversial is that the Patriots upset the Rams a while back in the Super Bowl. Look at some of the plays, the defence knew when Warner was going to throw the ball and stepped in the anticipated ball before the reciever even ran his route. That's why this is so heated, its because the supposed guy who filmed on the Ram's said that he did it, and now everyone says that they have been cheating since which is a reasonable argument in my eyes.
