I have a P4HT 3.0 GHZ processor and was wondering if this mobo would support it. It doesnt say anything about it.

I plan on upgrading my processor and mobo and Im getting the MOBO first so I was wondering if this would support P4HT and C2D QuadCores.

it supports the P4 AND HT. Or atleast it should. FYI ensure that you have a socket LGA775 P4 AND NOT a PGA478
just not officially. See intel no longer makes P4s andofficially mantaining support for them would cost money.

Worst case scenario you'de end up buying a celeron 420(1.6Ghz chip based off of core)

    FYI c2d= core 2 duo(d means duo)
    so c2q...

Yeah but no, I don't think it has a small socket Xelink that is why I told him that it doesn't support HT.. That board doesn't and it doesn't even says so anywhere.

I know i have a LGA775 cuz I use CPUZ. So that motherboard would still work with my P4 right?

I'd be willing to bet $50 on it.

it does support Pentium Ds officially and P4 HT to PD isn't too much of a difference as far as board setups go.(FYI pentium D = two pentium 4s in one package with HT disabled, chances are it also supports PXEs and P4HT, both basically being P4HTs with the former being two of them)
