Loved the movie, the end just sucks imo why didnt he threw the grenade truegh the glass when it was half broken :/
it don't suck.. thats the whole point of the movie aint it? he is a legend.. he died protecting the cure.. thats why he is a legend he died and save many lives
i dont understand how people were disapointed in this movie, not all movies have a fairy tale ending, because life doesnt always work that way
I was very surprised by the movie and the ending, but I agree. Sure, it wasn't the fairy tale climatic ending we've come to expect, but I think it works very well and is just as gratifying because we're seeing an ending that we can believe happening.
If he would've thrown the grenade, then hopped into the cover, then what good would that have done them. The mutated would just track him down. Him capturing and killing so many of their kind is the reason they pursed him relentlessly, and when he had that "epiphany" (Butterfly in the glass), He realized this. My take on it.
The reason he didn't throw the grenade is so he could die. Obviously. The zombievampire things were only there to kill him because he killed that zombievampire chick at the start.. Watch it again and you'll see how pissed off the macho zombievampire guy got when he took her..
I hated the end, but don't see how they could've made it better. It's just how the book was written, right?
I only read the first two posts. Yes, I loved the movie until the ending. Very disappointed they ended it that way. 6.5/10
