Nice but nowadays lots of people like to hide the fact that they are a Windows XP user, even though secretly they love it. Its the best OS to ever hit the computing world.

Sif, I know about half a dozen Linux Distro's that have much, much better performance and almost the same software compatibility, and XP had more issues than Vista upon release. Also, performance difference between Vista and XP is minimal at best. Sure, Vista requires a bit more RAM, but with RAM prices these days, it's definately not a justification. And since Vista's memory management is superior to XP, you get much more out of that RAM than in XP.
