FYI all 2ms panels are TN panels and are NOT ideal for doing graphic design work at a ----- level(though for casual use like here on GR it's more than fine).

I'm currently using a 22" Acer with a TN panel, a 17" Dell with an S-IPS panel, and a 24" Acer with an MVA panel, all of which are more than adequate for my design work.

    Samsung Syncmaster 226BW or 226BW

If you search these 2 products up, you'll find that it's the best 22" you can get for price AND quality. There has been some dispute in the past about the 226BW, but I believe they started to ship only S after all the complaints they had.

Compared to an S-IPS panel, the colours on a TN panel are paler, contrast ratio is often much worse, and the viewing angle is much worse. You are most likely far, far short of a ----- designer, so these sort of things won't really be too much of an issue for you.

Realistically, since there's no official standardized way of measuring Contrast ratio, it generally means little if there's a difference between monitors. Since most use the same manufactuered TN panels, the difference between each screen is minimal. As far as TN panels go, just buy the cheapest that has decent reviews.
