    Hey..

Basically, my C: seems to be clogging up.. I have ran virus scans using both Adaware and Spybot, and they pick up nothing :( According to the 'My Computer' screen, it says I have a little under 4gb left on the drive, but when I went into the C: and selected all the folders there (including hidden folders) it says there should have been another 14gb available.. I dont know why its saying this..

If anyone could shed some light onto what it could be, I would really really appreciate this, as my computer is starting to run slow =\

clean your temp with crap cleaner
adaware and spybot are malware scanners, use a virus scanner like nod32
also try those 3 in safemode, sometimes can pick up things that are hidden on a windows standard boot

Looks correct to me. If you need space, just buy another hard drive.

I have another hard drive, space isn't the problem- it is the fact that I should have another 10-15gb of space on my bootup drive, but it is telling me that I have only 4 =\

Will try all of the suggestions put up so far. Thanks guys :)

if you have ever owned Norton Antivirus, there is a very likely chance that you have a hidden system folder that could be deleted manually which is taking up to 20 GB space. (mine took up about 14 GB)

Use this program called Spacemonger to show you a picture of your hard drive and which folders are taking up the most space.

I uploaded because there site is a little hard to find the free version on ..

    Heres the site though...

FYI: The latest version is 2 but its not freeware... they let you use version 1 though for free and it does essentially the same thing. I've been using it for years and no problem. Simple program to do a simple task.

If you need help with the folders (whether you can delete them or not) just ask :D
