nope. the chipset on your system supports DDR1 RAM. DDR2 is incompatible. The reason why DDR2 i cheaper i because it's now produced in much higher volume and due to a few other things it's also cheaper to make(small chips and simpler tracing for the PCB boards due to BGA design of the ICs.)

pretty much any DDR1 kit will do for you. The stuff you ahve is rather slow so basically the cheapest stuff is faster than what you currently have.
