.fallen, I've said pretty much all of that before hand. I learned about all of this before the movie was even released. Still, people are like "omfg the monster randomly comez lololol". There is practically no plot holes in the movie aside from a cliffhanger that can possibly carry on to a decent sequel, doubt that can even be called a plot hole, anyways. If you're going to hate on the movie, at least know what the movie is about up and down.
alot of people dont know, thats why i posted it. and i would like a sequel, people are bitching about the ending sucking, well the sequel should be the whole event from someone elses P.O.V showing how the whole thing actually ends
lol the ending was absolutely terrible, but i would bet on a sequel. i personally loved the movie overall, but it also took a bit to long to jump into the story, to much of the party ya know. oh well, if they have a sequel i will definitely see it .
Here, guys. All the plot holes you think there is in the movie, are filled by reading this article: http://geeksofdoom.com/2008/01/22/cloverfi...g-and-millions/ Decent read. Enjoy.
Cloverfield was the most awesome waste of time I've ever sat through. Awesome in that it kept me interested. A waste of time because the ending killed the whole thing for me.
What does the monster look like? I looked it up on youtube and they have a still motion shot of the monster from the trailer but you can barely make out what it is. Heres what I believe the monster could be Or Godzilla I've found this off google is this it? or
5 more day to go till its out  from reading most of the posts it seems anyone who didnt like it didnt even look at any of the viral tie-ins... so im guessing this is the monster
Jackpot. And yeah. People are so dumb to the extent where they don't look into the movie before going to watch it. I'll post the link again. This is all the viral tie ins and fillers for the "plot holes" the idiots want to say there is in the movie: http://geeksofdoom.com/2008/01/22/cloverfi...g-and-millions/
I liked how the they made the monster look so real, ya know? Like usually you can tell when a monster or something is fake. But in this movie it blended in, there's going to be a sequel. At the end of the credits there's voices and I'm thinking they probably survived or something.
You sound like you didn't even watch the movie. That, or didn't even pay attention to half of the stuff going on in the movie. None of those are the monster. You see the monster face to face in the movie...are you half blind or something? Posting the link to the viral tie-ins again, third time's the charm: http://geeksofdoom.com/2008/01/22/cloverfi...g-and-millions/ There were so many viral marketing campaigns to help grasp the story better that basically the only people who didn't understand the story were the lazy asses who never bothered to even do any of them. Good thing that article explains everything. If you want to know the origins of the freakin monster, read that article. The answer's been on the 'net for months before the release of the movie.
