I mean come on. How could you not like this guy? That smile is so big! No really. It's like the size of a ****ing aircraft carrier...

No but seriously, how about an active discussion about Obama?

I know he's my candidate (but I turn 18 in 2009...). He's liberal on human rights issues, but still practical. I like that. And a black president would be pretty cool.

    Good arguments guys.

    Let's talk about... Welfare? No....

How about his race as a factor in his electibility?

I think he will motivate the large nonvoting black percentile to vote. Despite the racist tendencies of some areas of the nation, this new demographic will give him the boost he needs.

    Ughh, uh
You realize the large nonvoting black percentile will only vote for him because he is black.
I'm sure most of the nonvoting black percentile won't even take into consideration how much experience he has, which happens to be only 2 years.

Experience has little to do with having the necessary ideals to lead a country, or a group of people. For example, look at Arnold. No prior legal history, one of the best legal figures California has had in recent years.

I believe that the liberalness of Obama is what is needed in most parts of the US now. I personally wouldn't prefer Hillary for president, not because she is a woman though (cause I believe there are women who'd do the job well.), but only cause of the prior issues she's dealing with [aka Bill Clinton].

I'm still getting over the fact that she won New Hampshire... hmph...

But some of the people who will vote for him will not even know what he stands for, they will just vote for him because he is black.
He wants to take the troops out of the middle east, which I think is a very stupid idea.
I don't think its fair that some troops were sent there without wanting to, but they must be there.

Our country should have been pulled out of Iraq (minus a few hundred / thousand soldiers) long ago. Most militants and politicians can agree with that.

They accomplished their mission, then they 1 up'd that and formed a democracy over there. Since then, the only thing most civilians have heard regarding stories in Iraq have been US Soldiers deaths from random terrorist acts (which are active everywhere, not just Iraq and the middle east), gas prices continuing to rise, and that some soldiers get to come home for holidays to stay with loved ones. There is no further need for direct militant force in Iraq at current time, but of course the US has a few soldiers stationed everywhere in the world.

Also of note, people will vote because they have strong republican / democratic values, even without hearing of the candidates campaign. People will vote for Hillary because shes a woman, people will vote against other people just to spite their friends, etc. Using 'people will vote for him because hes black' is just unfit, seeing as everything a person does, or says, can be included as a vote to or against them, or even who they are as a person, withholding their political values and beliefs.

Experience is the worst argument against Obama. How many of the candidates running have been President? NONE! (Well hillary has been mighty close I guess) So technically, all have 0 years experience for the job in which they're "applying." A fresh face would be good for this country, as well as a new, younger viewpoint. Kennedy did just fine (until he was assasinated) being a young President with just a few years experience. Unfortunately, I think it would be very hard for Obama as well as Hillary in a country that is very stubborn to change.

I prefer him over Hillary. I don't agree with him on several issues, but he's more moderate. I don't think that his color should weigh in; I don't give a f*ck if my president is purple, so long as he does his job right. Would he go in full of hope and bullsh*t, or does he know what's at least practical. Is he willing to compromise, to work with both sides of the aisle, or will he just hole up with the Democrats? Is he going to do what's best for his party or will he do what is best for his country?

I don't see how 'experience' weighs in. None of them have been president before. None of them have held a job that comes close to the responsibility that it takes to lead a nation. In fact, I think that he'd probably do a better job than our 'experienced' friends in Congress that have sat on their asses and pissed my money away on useless bullsh*t. One of the reasons I'd love to see term limits imposed on Congress; if they can do it to the President, they should have limited themselves as well. Oh, wait, nevermind. Why would a group of 500-plus people sworn to serve our country do something honorable, something that would put the country above personal ambitions?

I don't agree with him on several things. He's anti-gun, wants to involve the federal government in places like health care, social security, abortion, and gay marriage, and supports a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. He wants out of Iraq, which I agree with. I think that, on the Democratic side, however, he's the most moderate; I'd still prefer to see a Ron Paul victory, but that won't happen. Given a choice between him and, say, McCain, I would vote for Obama.

    Oh, and about smiles...

Thanks, Fox News. Why don't YOU do YOUR research?

He's a member of the United Church of Christ. His mom was white, that's true. His dad was a Muslim, that's true, but he wasn't radical. He was just a plain old Muslim. Barack was never even raised Muslim; every school he attended was either secular or Catholic. He has been going to the same church for 20 years. His middle name is "Hussein", that's true, but that's a common Muslim name.

I know you're referring to that email that flew around regarding Obama. Most of it is entirely false. He does hold his hand over his heart when he says the pledge, he isn't Muslim, he was sworn in to Senate with his hand on a Bible.

And Hillary is smart. She attended Wellesley College undergrad, then Yale for her law degree. She was an editor at the Yale Law Review while there.

ownt. Don't be stupid next time.

coming from michigan, we have a woman governor, and no offense to any other women, but our state has the second worse unemployment rate next to ALASKA.

i still dont like obama even if that email was false.
