I saw In The Name Of The King yesterday and all I can say it wow. I didn't think it was possible for a movie to suck as bad as that movie did. It was the first time I have ever actually left the theater before the movie was over. No one in the movie acually looks like they belong in the time the movie takes place. And Burt Reynolds plays a king which is hilarious. Also the "Krug" which are basically orcs look like something from the old Ninja Turtle movies. There are alot of actors in here from other crappy movies like Ron Perlman. This movie is like a terrible knock off of Lord Of the Rings. Do not see this movie! And I read it was made by Uwe Boll who has made other horrible movies like Bloodtayne, house of the dead, and alone in the dark. I don't know what Jason Statham was thinking when he decided to be in this movie.
There's a general rule not to watch anything made by Uve Boll. I'm not even sure why they give that man money to make movies. I would pay not to watch his movies.
why does uwe boll make crappy movies? and have you ever realised that all his crappy moveis are based on games (not that i've seen his movies that arent based on games, if there are any)? this particular movie, my brother tells me is based on dungeon siege. crap. i thought i could go watch this for the weekend. ****
I think Jason Statham deff doesnt belong in this movie. He is a good actor and his action movies are badass and I think he should just stick to them and finally give us Transporter 3 cause I wanna see it haha
From the trailer it did look somewhat good but after I read up on it, I saw a lot of mixed reviews. I've never really been a fan of Jason Statham as a main character/hero because he's always this unstoppable force who can kill groups of 20 people without being touched. I looked at who else was starring in it and I have to say that I like everyone else for the most part, so its a shame that it didn't turn out so well.
Once you watch the trailer you can tell what this really is, Lord of The Rings done on a 2 cent budget with a bunch of 2nd rate actors and a script that's as bad as it gets.
