http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458481/ It says its coming 2009 although i read alot sites saying 2008 too!! loved sin city 1, hope the sequal will be as good as 1 Which stories are to be included in this movie? Is this a sequel/prequel? The stories recently confirmed by Miller in an interview, are: - A Dame To Kill For, Sin City Book 2, - An Unshelved Nancy Story, which Miller was working on a decade ago, and has now finished for the movie; the storyline was first mentioned by Miller in the BLAM! section of That Yellow ------ 6#, - some short stories, Miller said: "a couple of Blue-Eyes stories" [which are Blue-Eyes, Wrong Turn and Wrong Track, unsure if all will be icluded], and "an Old Town Girls' Story" [And Behind Door Number Three.. being practically the only one to fit that description.] As has been said before, Sin City books have not been published in chronological order. As the movie contains several stories, the terms sequel or prequel can't be applied. The Unshelved Nancy Story takes place after the events of That Yellow ------, supposedly (this being based on a comment by miller almost 10 years ago) two years after Hartigans suicide (which in turn is four years before The Hard Goodbye begins). Not much is known about the story, but gathering from the few comments Miller made over the years, the story is "about Nancy trying to cope with the death of Hartigan", "...will feature that lovable juggernaut Marv" and "...show you a whole new side of Nancy that will break your heart". This would make it a sequel to the That Yellow ------ -story, but a prequel to the other two (The Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill). Note: the popular rumour has been that Nancy would get her revenge on the Roarks on Hartigans behalf "Kill Bill Style". This is not based on anything by Miller, and Senator Roark was very much alive in the end of The Hard Goodbye, which is two years after this story. The rumour doesn't look that likely to be proven true. A Dame To Kill For begins a few months before Marv meets Goldie, and partly overlaps The Hard Goodbye. A Dame To Kill for is essentially a Dwight-story, which explains Dwights own comment about being a "killer with a new face". This makes it a prequel to The Big Fat Kill (and in a sense to The Hard Goodbye), but it has practically no connection to That Yellow ------, other than taking place after it and in the same city. The correct placing of the mentioned short stories is difficult and not that relevant; the Blue-Eyes stories all take place before the events of The Big Fat Kill, and And Behind Door Number Three... may actually be after Wendy visits Marv in deathrow, as she is seen wearing his necklace (the cross).

If Sin City 3 came out next year then Sin City 2 came out in 2009 that would be very, very interesting.
Sin city 3 isnt even in preproduction, script has to been written as for sin city 2 the script is ready the just need to start filming
