im not sure if anyone still takes photographs with an old manual 35mm camera, but personally i think that they are much better than a digital camera in the long run. I just took a half year course in high school and found out how to finally use one lol. anyone have like any tips for taking good pisc? or shaer their thoughts lol? sorry if this doesnt belong, i havent been on in ages : D i have a canon ae program :]
Non of those are great sites x_X I would go to deviantart and search for photography tutorials or go to the photo forum there, there is a bunch of help there.
SLR right ( single lens reflex ) B/W or colour? I agree its great style of photography i studied it for 2 years Digital is also cool. You got your own darkroom set up?
I think quality wise, film is a tad better, but I think now digital has caught up to it, or perhaps even surpassed it. I also dont like that with film you cant see the photos youve taken until you develop them. With digital, you can make sure that the ones you want are the only ones that get printed. I mean you can kind of see what it will turn out like from looking at the negatives, but you still can't see everything that happens to them
I thing old skool is better. It actualy made by you. alot of digital is changed so much on computer it become alianated from the original shot which is fine if thats your intention. Solarizing in a dark room is one of my fav techniques with b/w film. Digital wins though because its avalabilty is far better, it depends on alot of things though. If you get digital zoom only on a cam its just streatches your pixles to fix which distorts the image. But optical zoom actualy zoomes in then records the light. Its all about your purpose.
