Easily my most favorite books are the Demonata by Darren Shan and even Darren Shan Saga. Both excellent book franchises made by Darren Shan. I'm also reading The Bartimaus Trilogy: The amulet of Samarkand made by Jonathan Stroud. Interesting book, I like it but have definetly read better.

Wow, I actually just finished The Poisonwood Bible yesterday and it was amazing! I also read Things Fall Apart but I don't remember much of it which makes me sad.

I have not actually read some of these, but plan to in the future.

The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver
The Demon in the Freezer by Richard Preston
The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck
    Dubliners by James Joyce
The Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce
House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski
    Jurassic Park by Michale Crichton
The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera
    Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

And some children's books and Harry Potter as well.
I'd love to get a bookcase to keep my favorite books in though.
