I attended the Cactus Comicon in Phoenix this weekend and was lucky enough to meet Jeph Loeb there. He and Ed McGuinness had an hour long panel. Mainly this was about their new comic, Red Hulk, but there were quite a few questions about Heroes. Jeph Loeb is an Executive Producer and Writer for the show. He talked about how people have the wrong idea about the strike. They think that the writers are striking against the producers. And if that was the case, he would be striking against himself. Jeph said that they are actually striking against he big corporations such as NBC which is in term owned by General Electric(GE). For anyone that doesn't know, they are striking due to not being paid for the episodes aired online and from iTunes. Since 25% of their viewers already watch it via these methods, they would like to be paid for that.

Anyway, Jeph said that he is more than willing to come back and work on the show. He plans to do so when the strike is over and he already has storylines ready to be put into production. They only expected the strike to go on for a week or two but now it is in its 12th week. So now, all we can do is wait. There is no actual time that the show is going to be coming back on, or at all for that matter. But we can hope :)
