Can't Upload Emotions Through Ftp!

    Hi guys, I am unable to upload emotions to my IPB through IPB. I have a folder of emotions which I transfer in the style_emotions but they never show up even after chmodding them.. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be?

    I seriously suggest you try filezilla, been using it for years, no problem.

    No, they don't show up in the emotions folder in IPB

    yea i use FileZilla and IMO its great.. probly the best FTP ive used

    you have them inside a folder inside style_emoticons right? i dont think you can have the actual images in the style_emoticons folder. and i dont think you can have them in a folder than is in another folder inside the style_emoticons folder either. id use smartftp. best ftp client imo.

    Whoa guys its not about which FTP program to use, I promise I will use all of the programs you guys tell me to but right now what do I do to get my emotions cause I don't want to waste my time by uploading them one-by-one!

    Check the folder permission, are you allowed to edit?.. I had this problem with IP board a while back where the permissions were set so that I couldnt edit certain folders.. not 100% sure on this but its something to look into

    probably the ftp....like u had problm installing ipb......use smartftp! its best ftp IMO,try it with ftp or else i dont have any idea

    Okay, I will try switching the FTP client. Thanks everyone, also MagicGFX. I have tried changing the permissions but it still doesn't shows up!
