Dont think there is much point apart from to try get it as big as possible, to get the highest rank. But once u get started you face problems such as crime ratings, people leaving the city etc so i think main objective is to keep the city going for as long as you can or it will go to pot bassicly. Kinda like simcity but on the interweb. >< EDIT: Also when your population gets higher you can upgrade security to counteract problems with your city or improve different elements. Im not that far in atm so thats all i know.
