The Keybord and the touch screen response depends on the person. I have a friend has one and im able to use it with ease. I only have around 3gbs of music on my cpu so to me 80 is a little exsessive. I don't listen to music enough to pay 15/mo for unlimited music plus i have a couple of friends that are DJs so this dose not anything that attracts me. I also don't realy buy music online( I like CDs better because of listening to music in the car and What not). Facebook with Ipod touch was just an example of 3rd party app, I hear now theres an Playstaion emulator for it. This is useful for me because of long days at school.

In the end it really just depends on the person. I like to show off watch movies, relax, Listen to music on my way to work and school. so the touch is for me.

If your a music addict, Go on lots of long trips, And have a Ton of music and movies. Go for the Zune.

The Zune between the two, or the Zen overall are my personal favorites. Coming from someone who owns 2x 80GB iPod classics with both of them full (I love music, and over 50% of that is legal...) and works retail in an electronics store. I see countless iTouch get sold daily and I can't believe what a load of crap some people are willing to pay so much money on. Their space sucks, their internet browser sucks, their battery life sucks, their music program sucks, they break easily and their online store sucks. You can have all the above for $400... OR... you can have an 80GB Zune for $299 that is sturdy, has a large, vibrant screen, FM tuner, Wireless sync to computer, wireless sharing between Zunes, the Zune Marketplace, a much better looking program for music management, and better battery life.

    WTF is a Zune? lmao
I never heard of it since the past minutes which I google'd it. Maybe thats why I'm in Canada.. Here in Canada theres only one dominant MP3 seller; APPLE. The Zen is common but not as popular or controversial. I personally have a 30G Ipod Video (4G) and bought it for around $350 when it came out. It's like $150 now.. <_< & sadly, I'm going to purchase the Ipod touch soon as well. I'm a sucker for those "special features" like the touch screen, Youtube Player and Safari. I'm most likely get the 8G Ipod Touch which sells here in CANADA for around $399 without tax. I'm going to regret buying it in a year or two when it drops to $199.. :( But for now, I'll enjoy it as much as I can until that day comes! :D

**For all of you who think the keypad is hard on the Ipod Touch, you have to think. The screen is so big for the keypad already, so if you got big hands it could be a problem.

I got a 30GB Zune for Christmas and I love it. I don't like Ipods because you have to get iTunes. In addition to the iTunes process, it runs 3 additional processes called iPod service and blabbity blah. it uses to much memory and it is stupid. iTouch is a waste of resources with its nasty little screen. Apple is going to go down the toilet soon if they don't start producing quality instead of quantity. They continue to produce more and more things with more and more fatures. All the features are sucky and they don't work.

I agree with Dementia. I have owned an old RCA Lyra, an iPod Video 30GB, a Creative Labs Zen Vision: M, and I now own a Zune4GB.

Since I have only had the Zune for under a week now, I can't say much about it. I can however say that the build quality is excellent. I have dropped it twice already from above 2 feet onto linoleum flooring, and nothing has broken yet. The screen is small, but it is a great quality screen. The user interface is also very easy and simple to use, you can use either touch sensitive or tactive controls on it.

The Zen I just sold to my friend for $100USD. I loved it, it was a 30GB PMP, and it suited my needs greatly. I got the ZVM for movies and TV shows, as well as pr0n because of the locked folder ability, but I decided to sell it. I started drumming, and I wanted to get something smaller with a bit better audio quality for drumming. I didn't need video playback features anymore on my MP3 player because I bought a PSP just recently, which is perfect for movies with the big screen. The ZVM endured at least 50 drops onto linoleum, and it functioned perfectly for a year.

The iPod however, was ----. The screen got a huge ass blotch on it 1 week after the warranty ran out. I called Apple about repairing it, and they said it would cost $215USD to repair it. I bought the iPod for $230USD on sale at Target <_<. Here are some pics of after I gave up with Apple. I decided to gut it for the HD and use that with an external case for some PC backup. I had my buddy look at it, and he said that the screen failure was due to a fault in the LCD screen cable. Apparently there was a bare wire on the LCD screen that touched the ungrounded battery cable and pretty much shorted the player causing a mini-explosion on the LCD screen.

So far, between an iPod and Zune, I would chose the Zune. The 15bucks per month for unlimited music downloads kicks ass, plus there are tons more features on the Zune, such as a radio and the ability to change your wallpaper versus the plain ass iPod.

Well I had a 2g Zen V plus with no real complaints other than it Freezeing uo a couple of times.

Ive had my touch for about a week now with no major complaints.

The only thing that really annoys me is Album art. It shouldn't but it just dose. If you don't have album art you feel at a lost when looking through Cover Flow. And then Getting album art is a pain as well.

Also when I sync my music to it sometimes the music is the wrong order.

I also wish you would see the wallpaper in more than one screen

Other than that I love it. My Fingers have been haveing sex with it all week. ^_^

(And I don't know if its just me or not but I get this strange urge to pull it out around people  )
