Help With Photoshop C S3

    Alright, well this has happened a lot to me, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I double click on the color square on the bottom of the menu bar in Photoshop to select a color. When for example I want a red color, I hit ok and the color is displayed as a gray color. I hit D to reset and even trying re-opening, still won't work. Help?

    Tried checking your Colour Mode settings?

    Go to Image>Mode>RGB

    when you do file>new, make sure the mode is set on RGB color and NOT grayscale
