Johnny Depp isn't so good at singing, but portrayed his character almost perfect. It was pretty good overall..

Had a friend in another forum play Sweeney Todd in an independent musical tour. It was cool.

I really want to see the movie, everything I've heard is positive from it. I love a good musical, Tim Burton has a good track record of movies to me, and Depp, well, he's simply a good actor. Definitely looking forward to seeing this movie.

Just got back from seeing this a few hours ago. It was a very well made movie and the acting was wonderful.
Many of the songs were a little too happy for the kind of movie that it was but overall it was great. The beginning was a little slow but if you can get past that I say give it a shot.

Still a bit sceptical about this film, you sure the singing like goes well with the story? I'da preferred the same concept but in a regular film..

Uhhh, it's based off of a BROADWAY MUSICAL. Of course the singing goes well with the story. It was all made to correlate with each other. Give me a break....

might go this weekend... if it's in the cinemas over here. they tend to censor a lot and if there's too much violence, they just don't show it *(runs away looking for pirated dvds)*
