New Style

So, I followed a tut to the best of my ability and here is what I got.

 

It looks good but the left side is really bothering me and distracting my eyes from the focal point.

 

What could i do about it?

 

It's probably the colors. Or the fact that there are no shadows there.

Try adding some more adjustment layers and increase the contrast in that area. Then add some shadows. If that doesn't work try redoing that part.

I would also recommend seeing how it looks in black and white.

 

I'll give it a try. But, what do you mean by shadows. I'm still new to this.

 

So I fooled around with some settings, got a b&w version. And some version where I messed with quite a few settings.
