I want to bet that that's a GPU which is integrated into the system chipset with the only chipsets with it being those that support PCI-e best bet is to open your case and have a look note the offset and the length of the slots. also pci-e x16 are usually accompanied by pci-e x1
OK this is the last question then i rep u guys and im going. I took a look on pc world and decided that these are my options, so can you please just tell me which is the best VALUE, not just the best, one might be a rip off compared to the other, even though thier is a small diff. i think i can scrape £80 for the bottom one but it might not be worth it, one might be better, so just tell me which is best VALUE. also i just copied this str8 off a site so some of it might not make sense. 1. PNY B-G77300SN1E24YPB GEFORCE 7300GS 256MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD £50.00 2. PNY B-G77300GN1E25YPB-G GEFORCE 7300GT 256MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD £79.97 3. PNY B-G88500GN1E25YPB-G GEFORCE 8500 GT 256MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD £69.99 4. 3D FUZION 3DFR76256GSE GEFORCE 7600GS 256MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD £49.97 5. BFG BFGR73512GTE GEFORCE 7300GT 512MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD £99.99 6. PNY B-G88600GN1F25XPB-G GEFORCE 8600 GT 256MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD £99.99 7. BFG BFGE86256GTOCE GEFORCE 8600GT OC 256MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD £109.99 Also lastly, could you put like the top 3 or more, in order of value, so that if one is outa stock or isnt compatable or something i have another, dont just say the best, and remember, best VALUE, not best.
Englands overpriced, but with shipping charges and the time it takes to get it im pretty stuck, So main question answered, and ill probably be getting the 7600GS PCi-E But i need to be sure its compatable, i will do anything you ask to get you the info to work out if it is? ( i know that doesnt even make sense as a question but i got the point across.. )
ok, well £50 in pc world and it looks pretty good, do you think its capable of BF2 on high detail? if you dont know then w/e just having a shot in the dark. also i was having a look at the GEFORCE 8500 GT 256MB PCI-E GRAPHICS CARD £70 to me i would rate it higher, bieng a higher product name, making me think it was more modern, this is also the final question, so is this better or worse than the 7600 gt? because if you answer this it basicly answers all of my wonders now because then ill just know the 7600 is the good one, and the others in this price range r bad.
the 8500 is slower than the 7600 basically 8 generation of card 5 rank of card within generation 0 makes the number look bigger 0 makes the number look bigger in this way, a 7300 is slower than a 6800, but a 7600GT is generally faster than a 6800 but this isn't always the case a 6600 is about as fast as a 8500 the 8600 is literally twice the card of the 8500 usually the only real way to know how good a card is would be looking at reviews, both inverse and I are really read up on graphics cards and computer related stuff in general so we can tell you what stuff is for the most part, but if you're doing stuff on your own it requires going on Google typing a cards name and some other terms and looking around this si a little bit outdated but it is a good example http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_200...2&chart=318
you have helped me so much thankyou , its amazing how people like you are prepared to put time aside to help people they havnt ever met, i will rep you when i work out how :s lol..
ok i ordered the 7600GT, i looked on ur site and it put the GT almost twice as good as the GS, also i checked other sites which sayed from tests it was around 30% better. I bought it from a internet website for around £45 which isnt bad, i payed about £20 postage though because i wanted next day delivery, and they dont deliver saturday without first class recorded, so i payed quite a bit but atleast i get it tomorrow,
