Extracting Audio From A Video

    I was wondering if it is possible to take just take the audio from a video. If its possible how? what programs etc or what ever.

    I think you can use virtualdubmod to rip the audio layer.

    I dont really get how to use that program... Anyone know anything else?

    You can try to use Audacity, just change the source to "Stereo", play your video and hit record. It should work.

    Edit: Not all sound cards will support this method.

    Another way you can try is looping your audio out of the headset jack straight into the microphone port and recording it using Audactity that way.
