I have been reading the rules again and again, but I would just like to check with the members here, because I do not want to get banned for something I did not mean to do.

From the 1st January, I will be posting lots of resources, Tutorials, PSD'S etc here on the forum!

Is it okay, if I have a sponsor section in all these resources, giving links to websites, to sponsor all these things and make them free, also giving more credits to give more free resources?

I have seen this in one or two free stuff threads!

Well that would be seen as advertising. If you have zip/rar the resorces maybe you could put a read-me(or add an achive comment) in the achive.

    Oof?
No linking to other threads permitted, full stop.
If your files are zipped, and as Untitled said you have a read-me you can get away with it.

    Otherwise, no.

Thanks for clearing that up, I may include a read-me file and a internet link in the zip files? That is alright right?

In the Tutorial I have a url written on it, is that alright, as long as the url is not linked up, but it is just something to read and say thanks to that website?

basicaly just open up a basic word editor, write a message and include the url and save it as readme.txt and you should be fine on all accords.
heck if you want to be sneaky you can even make the files name that of the sponsor...

the idea behind the rule is to prevent blatant advertising. usually if you're posting is helpful to the community there is a bit more slack though.

Thanks Broken, XLink, The Grinch and everyone else that has helped me!

I will be including a ReadMe in the file, the file name with my URL in, a password of my URL to access files (so other people, sites do not steal) and a Internet Explorer link to Slaren.COM inside the package?

Is it alright then, just to make sure?

Its not about advertising, its about getting credit really for some top stuff that I share, I mean I could share 7.5K worth of Tags, in one thread!
Also its to stop people from just stealing my resources, if they do, then at least I get some credit and benefit out of that :(!

I do not want to run into future troubles, so if someone could just confirm my list, that would be great :P!

    Thanks!
