I just got a ps3 for christmas and wondering wht games are the hottest rite now, im currently looking forward in getting WarHawk and Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, i read a couple of reviews on ign but you can't trust Em' these days, i just wanted to hear from the "hardcore" gamers like me.
well your not hardcore becuase you put hardcore in quotes... and you asked about games... if you where hardcore you would have a bunch of games and rape at them like me... but im not hardcore

Before you go out and buy some games check out the PSN Store and download any demos that you think you might like, avoid Timeshift its like playing on the ps1 again imo.But these ones are worth checking out. Heavenly Sword - 6 hrs or so play but worth it imo Call of Duty 4 Warhawk - new expansion out Assasins Creed Motorstorm - then download any extra content Resistance Fall of Man Uncharted: Drakes fortune i own all those and love em all ^_^ Then you have Haze, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Devil May Cry 4 and more to come later on.
Warhawk is amazing, I'd seriously recommend it. I played the demo of Heavenly Sword, I have the game but haven't had time to play it yet...the same goes for Resistance:Fall of Man, really fun demo (both demos are on the PS store for free download) Motorstorm is fun if you like racing games...it was fun for me and I don't usually like racing games. I haven't played R&C but I heard it was good. I got orange box for the PC, but if you don't have a good computer or if you are more into console gaming then I would also recommend the orange box...Portal is short but fun, Half-Life 2 is amazing, and Team Fortress 2 is hilarious. Now see guys, that was easy...if you want to flame go to the spam/flame forum.
currently i own...warhawk, assassins creed, resistance, guitar hero 3, ratchet and clank, unreal tournament 3, cod4, and motorstorm...and each game is freaking amazing... if you want a great online multiplayer game i suggest UT3, COD4 (great single player too), Warhawk, and Resistance (great single player too) Guitar hero 3 is great no need for an explanation.. ratchet and clank is a really fun platformer..just beat it yesterday..ull hav a lot of fun with it and also get motorstorm if you like racers...
GUITAR HERO BABBBY! If you actually want an FPS, the only one I've witnessed was a God Father. It sounded like the house was blowing up... -_- Don't know if thats a good sign or not.. Anyways, the games I would want to play on PS3 were to be Call of Duty 4 and possibly Warhawk.
Im going check out the PSN store, and i need like a top 10 because i atleast have like $400-500 to spend
