the 1st: that style is so famous that anyone else who does it just looks like a cheap copycat. . nice tag still. 2nd: execution is letting you down. better detail-level smudging, color integration and focal is needed.
just to let you know. i drew things like that when i was a kid, pen and paper of course, when i saw the original tag, i was surprised so i made one for myself.
