I don't like the rounded corners / colors.

 

I think it's somewhat cool.
It's just kinda bland, ya know?
The rounded corners aren't any good
either. I think the text looks good where it's at.
Whatever you do, don't throw it in the corner, always
cheapens a piece.

The rounded edges dont suit the square canvas, by what i mean is look at everything in the image:
-Buildings are square
-text is square
-canvas is square
then you have these round edges... Big no no IMO

The effects are nice but being such a big canvas its repetative, all the effects are too similare its like you have used 3 or 4 brushes and thats it, and if you layered it more it would fix that.

The idea is cool, but the effects you have used to exacute the concept lack, and thats just a part of learning its still i nice piece but from a design standpoint it needs work.

Try to throw in some gradient maps .. that will break down the mono tone ...

hm yeah i tried some other fonts but they didnt really fit so i took that one

 

Fade the stroke on the lettering and drop the opacity it is to bold compared to the rest of the images, what im mean is the darkness of the lettering is far different to the lines of the buildings so its not the text that looks out its the strength that throws it out.

looks better, props for sticking with it.
