ok, so im getting some new things for my computer.

im looking for an intel CPU either quad core or something thats close to a quad, a good mobo and some good ram (2gb-4gb). I don't really know what to look for in a motherboard =\

They don't have to be really cheap. Im just looking for some suggestions to get some good bang for my buck.
keep in mind im using these parts for my computer which I do 3D animation on.

lets say...try to keep it under a grand?

Dunno, E6750, P35 and any DDR2 800 RAM. You could go for a Penryn CPU if you want, or a Q6600.

Currently the only Penryn available is the QX9650, which is expensive, but give it some time, and the midrange dual (Wolfdale E8***) and midrange quad (Yorkfield Q9***) CPU's will be out.

Q6600's are also good value, if you have a need/use for multi-tasking.
