Do you realise how ------ing idiotic you sound when you say stuff like that? They get raised because people eat meat/drink milk etc.. Born - taken away from their moms (if they don't get killed straight away for the ingredient that gets used in a lot of cheeses) then they get put in really bad living conditions, get bad food, get treated bad, have stress 24/7.. then, finally, get killed. I'm against the whole process of getting meat.. actually, the killing part is probably the best for the animal. I'm vegetarian mainly because i'm against animal cruelty, but even if you don't care about animals' well being, you must realise, 18% of global warming gets caused by eating meat (the whole process, not just putting the dead animal part in your mouth). Lmao, nice one Vegetarians don't eat fish.
I'm afraid this turned into a ---/contra vegetarian debate, gentleman But it makes me laugh everytime. Meat eaters always complain about how vegetarians keep shouting abuse because they eat meat.. well, prime example here : i mention being vegetarian ONCE, and the whole topic has to be about that. But if somebody would say how much they love meat and i'd say it's wrong to eat meat, i'd be insulted non stop for the next million years.
lol second or third time I read this discussion (only different people having it with Morv ) anyway I think everyone can chose for themselves. It's a noble idea to give up eating meat (especially when you like it) because you want to make a difference. Allthough it's something everyone needs to choose for themselves, why were you guys having this discussion again?
sorry ravr, but I can't help pointing out how ------ING IGNORANT that comment was ^_^ allthough I'm no vegetarian myself, I have some vegetarian friends and I think Morv said the same thing above somewhere. The point of being a vegetarian is not solely to make people stop eating meat, it's a refusal to cooperate with the suffering that the animals go through before they end up at burgerking etc etc
I know that everyone has their opinion and we have to respect that, but damn, some points are just stupid. <_< Morv we should stop getting into these arguements, I think we will never win. Why? Because unlike them, we always try to make sence! :lol:
well morv... i would have to say you ------ing ignorant along with other people out there... not all animals ar totured most arnt especially if you look on a package of meat/dairy products that say kosher wich means that the animal is not tortured/stressed becuase adreniline tants the meat wich means its not kosher btw morv you not a man not eating meat is like driving a mini-van with a fannypack on
