So there is no way to put movies on your xbox's hard-drive correct? If you cannot, what exactly is the point of the 120GB hard-drive that the Elite comes with? You would have to spend hundreds of dollars in the Marketplace to fill that.
Well, to some people this is a great product and some it is not. If you are a media hog and want to hold a plethora of music, movies, tv shows, downloadable content, game saves, themes, then it is for you. But most people can do without it because they delete old movies and shows after playing them, and run their music from a computer or ipod. So it depends on what type of person you are and what you want your 360 to do.
You can record TV on your XBOX 360. If your internet/cable provider supports IPTV. Also the marketplace is offereing to download full original xbox games. So that can fill up a HD quick.
now you can buy them on XBL, and they are prety cheap, but id rather just buy it at hmv for more and have more options
Yeah, the large HDD is for people who love to store music on there HDD. However, with the growing amount of content on the marketplace, the 20GB just won't cut it soon enough. Not with all the in game content, arcade games, demos, movies, tv shows, etc, etc...
