    Hello,

I live in MELBOURNE, Australia. I currently like/enjoy finding out things about Egypt. I have been lucky enough to have been to Egypt to see these things, but not all people have. I am quite anyoed about the fast that there is NO Egyptian artifact of any kind in Melbourne. (No potts no coffins etc) Why is is that the cairo museum has coffins in the car park, but cant send us any?

Who should i contact to try and change this

It's not a fake picture. The sarcophagus, however, is.

I find it weird that Melbourne has *no* Egyptian artifacts whatsoever. Maybe you should contact your local MP to see if they can help.

PS. Are you interested in archaeology or something else?

Melbourne Uni's Ian Potter Museum of Art had an exhibition earlier this year sometime . Ring the campus or museum and find out if there are any upcoming exhibition's

Well there you go. I assumed it was fake but I was proven wrong, lol. Weird thing to leave something like that outside so I had to go with it being a fake.

And none of this is cheap. Some of these exhibition relics are priceless and would be a nighmare for insurance purposes. I could understand why they are few and far between.

Well if you take the idea to your local MP, they may be able to acquire some artifacts for permanent housing at one of the major museums in Melbourne. It may even increase the tourist population heaidng to Melbourne and increase the country's popularity overall.

But Egypt sucks. You change your interests to something more relevent. If it's archaeology you're interested in, it matters little where or what "Egyptian" artifacts are, but more that you should learn about them.

I mean, so what, they had a stupid and indeciphirable written language (which wasn't even really a language) and like preserving their rich and royal.
